Sharon Carter
I have practised yoga for over 15 years, initially just
to increase my flexibility and improve my desk-bound
sitting posture but I also found that it also allowed me
to relax and generally make me feel better about myself.
Becoming a yoga teacher has allowed me to find out
even more about the positive impacts it has and I want
to help others to experience the benefits of yoga for
themselves.
I feel that anyone can get something positive out of
practising yoga. Many of us are stressed from daily life,
yoga helps to release the tension in our bodies and
calm the mind. It also gives us a sense of perspective
on life.
I like to teach small groups and I approach my classes
in a relaxed and playful way.
For those looking for a personalised practice, private tuition is also available which can be tailored to individual needs.

About Asana Warriors
Asana Warriors was created in 2016 by Sharon Carter and Rachael Hine through their love of yoga and their belief that regular yoga practice can help strengthen both body and mind.
Asana Warrior classes take place in Gawcott, Padbury and Winslow; led by Rachael and in Rickmansworth; led by Sharon.

Hi, I'm Rae and I love yoga so much that I decided to teach it.

I started yoga in my 20s. I viewed it as an extension to dance but I soon found out that yoga has so many more benefits. Yoga makes me happy, it calms my overactive brain, keeps me grounded and it became the physical and mental wellbeing that I had been searching for.
I believe yoga is for everyone. I teach a wide range of age and abilities. My classes are friendly and relaxed and my groups are small which allows me to work with you on a more personal level and help you achieve
your goals.
